Selection And Recruitment Process At IGS
We directly select the candidates from Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, the Philippines, and also from some of the African Countries who qualify our written and oral test in the English Language. Then we conduct the physical Ability Qualifier Test to ensure that all the selected guards are physically fit to qualify the SIRA physical Test in Dubai and perform their duty best at their respective sites. We always recruit those candidates who has no criminal records in their names and has a passion to work in the security field and make their career in a Disciplined Environment.
Training
Once the Guards landed in Dubai; they will join us at their respective staff accommodation and the next day onwards for a week time IGS provides in-house Basic Security Training at our In-house training room. This brief session provides the guards with an idea about the Country UAE, the Laws of the Land, Dos and Don’ts in the country, the Role of Security officers, how to maintain personal hygiene, customer care skills, communication skills, etc. Then the second level, we take the guards for the SIRA training at the Security Cadre Training Centre [SCTC Centre Al Mamzar]. Once they qualify they should appear for the Physical Fitness Test. We also provide On-Site Training and on regular intervals Refreshing training as well by professional and licensed trainers.
HSE Environment
When the guards are deployed at the site, according to the nature of the site we provide the site orientation training on HSE and the PPE they used to wear and the policies they have to adhere to while on duty. We make sure that the guards are well aware of the MSDS prevailing at the worksite while on duty if any emergency situation arises. After the orientation we; for the safety and security of the site get the orientation confirmation and acknowledge sheets duly signed by the guards that they are well aware of the policies and procedures and SOPs of our Valued Clients at the site. For fulfilling this task, the client should provide the required security policies and procedures of their site supporting documents to the Operations team to impart the training points to the guards deployed.
